Our country hotel near Kirriemuir has been providing accommodation for guests since 1850, when it was an old Drovers Inn. Today, it offers a high standard of accommodation with many guests becoming regular visitors. At Glen Clova Hotel, we have a choice of stylish and comfortable options available. From our 10 hotel rooms and 8 steading rooms, to our 9 self-catering luxury lodges and 2 elegant houses.

Please note that the main hotel and steading closes each year from the day after Valentine's Day to the day before Mother's Day. For 2024 this will be from 15th February to the 8th March (inclusive). However, our self-catering lodges and houses will remain open during this period.

Hotel accommodation near Kirriemuir

Our hotel accommodation is located in Milton of Clova near the town of Kirriemuir, at the foot of Glen Doll in the Cairngorms National Park. Within the main building, we have 10 traditional hotel rooms with a modern twist. Here, we offer classic and superior double and twin rooms. Or for that extra touch of luxury, we have a four-poster room and a junior suite. Just a 30-second walk away, we have a further 8 rooms in our beautiful well-appointed steading. If you are travelling with children or as a larger group there are a choice of family rooms here. Our steading rooms are also all dog-friendly and we have a fully accessible twin room.

Our self-catering lodges and houses

Not far from the hotel, we have these great self-catering options. Enjoy a relaxing retreat in one of 9 luxury lodges. They have large open-plan kitchen dining and living areas, perfect for entertaining. We also have 3 elegant houses, offering stunning views over the glens. Each lodge and house is fitted with its very own outdoor hot tub, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the great Scottish countryside. Most of the lodges and all of the houses are also dog-friendly.
