We are a family-friendly accommodation provider in Scotland, offering hotel rooms and self-catering lodges and houses that are suitable for families with children. There are 3 family hotel rooms in our steading building, which sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children. Or for a home-from-home option, choose one of our self-catering lodges or houses. We offer pet-friendly accommodation in our steading family rooms and most of our self-catering holiday homes. So if you’d like to bring your dog along, they are most welcome too.
We have 3 family rooms located in the steading building, just a 30-second walk from the main hotel. Each room has a double bed and a set of bunk beds, so up to 2 adults and 2 children can sleep comfortably. All rooms come with flat-screen TVs, refreshment trays, hairdryers and include a full Scottish breakfast.
Our 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom self-catering lodges on the grounds of Glen Clova are all family-friendly. All include a fully-equipped self-catering kitchen, bath or shower room(s), living and dining space, an outdoor hot tub, sauna, BBQ and a small starter pack with food and dish-washing essentials.
We also have 2 self-catering houses. Brandy Cottage has two bedrooms and sleeps up to 4 guests. The larger Old Manse has 5 bedrooms and accommodates up to 10 people. Both houses are great for families. They have fully-equipped kitchens, living and dining space, bathrooms, an outdoor hot tub and a small starter pack with food and dish-washing essentials.

My husband and I stayed here in 2015 and I returned with my parents in August 2024- both times were lovely. The large lodge was as wonderful- very comfortable, well-equipped, and warm, and an excellent base for wonderful walks. Food in the pub was lovely, and service is friendly, warm, and kind. I hope to be back sooner rather than later!
