So, what is an intimate wedding? An intimate wedding is when you are looking to spend your day with just those closest to you. If can be a wedding for as few as 10 people or perhaps up to 40. If you are looking to celebrate your love for another with just your family and friends, then an intimate wedding is what you are after. Our intimate weddings are offered midweek, although if you are looking for a weekend intimate wedding please get in touch as if we have late availability we may be able to offer an intimate weekend wedding.

Intimate weddings are full of love and joy because everyone knows you. There are no awkward conversations with your Dad’s Auntie Sue who you haven’t seen for twenty years. Just people who means something to you. These are the people who matter the most to you and your partner.

Our wedding options will match whatever you are needing. Most intimate wedding celebrations take part in our hotel. You can have your ceremony in the nearby chapel, then have your meal and evening party with us.

If you are a small party of 14 or less you can also choose to have your wedding in Brandy Burn Manse House – this is a beautiful Victorian house with a gorgeous 3/4 acre garden and is perfect for an outdoor ceremony or for a small gathering in the formal dining room.

We were staying in the area for a week and decided to book an overnight stay for my wife’s birthday. It’s a lovely hotel in a perfect location. Staff were very friendly and helpful, a really cosy bar area and the brandy bothy where you can eat and take your dog. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We stayed in a steading room which are dog friendly, the room was immaculately clean and very warm and cosy. Breakfast was also excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
