Glen Logie Restaurant

With a huge bay window looking over the beautiful Angus Glens, our main restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy expertly cooked local produce. Open to non-residents (pre-bookings required) for lunch (Sat/Sun) and dinner (7 days) our menu showcases a blend of traditional homecooked fayre to modern classics with a twist. Guests staying with us can also enjoy a hearty full Scottish breakfast. With the dividing wall opened up, our restaurant has the capacity to hold a maximum of 120 for dining and dancing into the night and makes a fantastic venue for a birthday party, wedding or christening. Recently opened is our new bar which opens onto the function suite so ideally situated for guests attending an event at our hotel.

Climbers Bar

Visitors over the years to our hotel love our Climber’s Bar. It’s authentic, original and very homely. The fire will be burning on chilly days making the bar a perfect place to stop and catch your breath after a long walk in the hills. We have a big focus on local and have a selection of gins from the nearby Gin Bothy and spirits from Ogilvie Vodka. We also have local ales from Burnside Brewery as well as our own Clova Ale. A good wine choice and a range of soft drinks are available too. We appreciate that many of our visitors have been out walking in the hills and often have their dogs with them so we give a warm welcome and fresh water to our doggie visitors too.

Brandy Bothy

It’s not just the Climber’s bar where dogs are welcome. You can also book a table for lunch or dinner at our Brandy Bothy where you can enjoy your meal with your faithful companion by your side with wonderful views over our outside decking area and the countryside.  This is also a perfect spot for our residents to enjoy in the evenings after a day exploring the hills or to relax in after a tasty dinner.

The same good quality food that is served in our main restaurant is also served in our Brandy Bothy.

Fabulous Food

Whether you are stopping in past for a quick bite to eat, a leisurely tea with friends or a special night out, you'll find something to tempt your fancy at Glen Clova Hotel.  We pride ourselves in using local produce and enjoy creating new dishes as well as family favourites.
