COVID-19 Announcement

At Glen Clova both our self-catering lodges and hotel are fully open but if you are regulars you may notice differences due to the new rules and legislation.  Please see below a summary of the rules and how they will affect your stay with us:

HOTEL & STEADING RESIDENTS:

Current Scottish legislation states that only one household may occupy a hotel bedroom.  Therefore please ensure that each room that you book only has guests staying from the same household.

In order to safeguard all our guests thorough cleaning will be undertaken of all rooms in between guest stays.  In addition public areas will be cleaned regularly to ensure your safety.  Due to the increase cleaning schedules the check in and check out times are currently as follows:

Hotel and steading rooms - check in from 3pm, check out by 11am

Our hotel and steading residents may enter through the main front door during their stay for both check in/check out and also if they wish to eat in our restaurant.

Please note the regulations that come into effect from 6pm on Friday 9th Oct to Sunday 25th Oct inclusive mean that alcohol is prohibited from being served indoors to all our guests.  However you can enjoy a drink with us on our outdoor decking or can still get alcohol on a room service basis.

In order to protect both our staff and our guests, your room will only be entered in the case of an emergency or problem with any equipment.  Your room will not be freshened up during your stay, however if you require fresh towels, milk, tea or coffee replaced or have any issues, please contact reception who will arrange this for you.

LODGE RESIDENTS:

Current Scottish legislation states that only one household may occupy any self-catering establishment.  Therefore please ensure that each lodge that you book only has guests staying from the same household.

In order to safeguard all our guests thorough cleaning will be undertaken of all lodges in between guest stays and your hot tub will be fully emptied, cleaned and refilled prior to your arrival.  Due to the increase cleaning schedules the check in and check out times are currently as follows:

Lodges - check in from 5pm, check out by 9.30am

Our lodge residents may enter through the main front door for check in and check out but should you wish to eat with us we request that you follow the arrows around the front of the building and someone will be there to meet with you and take you in through our bar area.

Please note the regulations that come into effect from 6pm on Friday 9th Oct to Sunday 25th Oct inclusive mean that alcohol is prohibited from being served indoors to all our guests.  However you can enjoy a drink with us on our outdoor decking or can purchase alcohol from us to take back to your lodge.

DAYTIME VISITORS:

Customers visiting us for dining must go around the front of the building, following the signs and you will then be met at the bar area.

Please note that under the new regulations that come into effect from 6pm on Friday 9th Oct to Sunday 25th Oct inclusive means that non-residents can only eat with us indoors up to 6pm daily.  At 6pm all non-residents must have vacated the building so last seating will be at 4.30pm.  Food and drink can continue to be served to non-residents into the evening on our outdoor decking area or for takeaway.

Please note that alcohol is prohibited from being served indoors to all our guests from Friday 9th Oct to Sunday 25th Oct inclusive.  However you can enjoy a drink with us on our outdoor decking area.

ALL CUSTOMERS:

All customers - residents or visitors - are encouraged to book in advance for all meals.  Due to the restrictions currently in place with regards to social distancing we have less tables in use so cannot guarantee a table unless booked in advance.

All customers will also be asked to complete a track & trace form on every visit.

All customers will be expected to wear masks whilst walking through public areas of the hotel - this is for both your protection and for the protection of others.  Once seated masks can be removed.  Exemptions are in place for those children under the age of 5 and these children are currently not required to wear a mask.

The current rules state that no more than 6 people from up to 2 different households may socialise together.  Please therefore be aware that for all bookings we will check the size of your party and you will be asked to confirm how many households your party is from.  Please note that children under the age of 12 from either one of the two households are not counted in the numbers

We have a one way system in place, please follow this or if in any doubt please see a member of staff.

Within our restaurant/bar area we are a designated 1m+ zone.

Although it's been a tricky few months for us all, the Glen Clova team look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel & lodges in the future both safe and well.

Keep safe and thank you for your understanding at this time.
